This is the category for women that want to go “all out” on competition day with an exciting Victoria’s Secret or Vegas showgirl type theme as part of the competition. Also, for those interested in being seen by mainstream model scouts, this is the category for you.
“Fit,” “beautiful,” “marketable” and of course, “glamourous” are some of the words that could be used to describe the ideal glamour competitor. The physique for this category could fall anywhere on the continuum from Bikini to Women’s Fitness. What sets this category apart is the emphasis on beauty, presentation and how the theme wear is presented.
There are two equally scored rounds in the Glamour category: swimwear and theme wear.

Protocol and Judging
Stage Presentation
In both the swimwear and theme wear rounds, each competitor will enter from one side of the stage (dependent on venue) and walk to the rear center of the stage and perform 2-3 poses. She will then walk to the front center of the stage where another 2-3 poses will be performed before exiting the stage.
In the swimwear round, competitors should focus on showcasing their physique during the poses, but should not perform any flexed poses. After individual stage presentations have been completed, all competitors will line up along the front of the stage as a group facing the front. They will then be asked to turn to the rear and turn back to the front before exiting as a group.
In the theme wear round, competitors should focus on showcasing their personality during their individual walk and posing. A great example of the kind of presentation we are looking for would be the Victoria’s Secret runway models. After all individual stage presentations have been completed, all competitors will line up along the front of the stage facing the front. In this round competitors will only be compared from the front and will not be asked to perform any turns.
Example of Scoring in the swimwear round:

801 | 9 | 9 | 10 | 10 | 38 |
802 | 8 | 9 | 7 | 7 | 31 |
*scores will be sorted from high to low and highest scoring competitor will win
Musculature – the competitor should have a fit, healthy look. The competitor should not fit the terms “skinny” or “big” by fitness standards
Conditioning/Symmetry – there should be an aesthetically pleasing balance between the muscle groups. Some visible separation, but not deep lines are desirable particularly between glutes/hamstrings/quadriceps, abdominals, and shoulders upper arms. Separation within the muscle groups (ie: between the muscles of the quadriceps) is not necessary, but is acceptable if it is not overly pronounced.
Attractiveness/Marketability – could this be a look that mainstream modelling agencies would be interested in? The hair, makeup, skin tone and choice of suit color all contribute to the overall look.
Confidence/Presentation – the competitor should exude charisma, they should exude confidence and poses should look natural. For this category there should be no poses that resemble flexing, though the competitor may want to keep the muscles tight during the posing.
Example of Scoring in the theme wear:

Theme wear (20) | Total (40) |
800 | 8 | 9 | 16 | 33 |
801 | 10 | 10 | 20 | 40 |
802 | 8 | 8 | 17 | 33 |
*scores will be sorted from high to low and highest scoring competitor will win
Attractiveness/Marketability – could this be a look that mainstream modelling agencies would be interested in? The hair, makeup, skin tone and choice of suit color all contribute to the overall look.
Theme Wear – was the theme wear a suitable choice for the competitor? The outfit should complement the physique and the features of the competitor and enhance their presentation. As the category name states, the theme wear should also make the competitor look glamourous.
