UFE Mayhem 2008

In its second year, UFE Halloween Mayhem was, yet again, one of the bigger events of the year. Nearly 100 competitors took to the stage and the calibre was amazing. While last year, 10 points separated our 1st place competitor from our 2nd place competitor in the female fitness model category, this year, only 2.2 points separated our 1st place from our 10th place competitors. In almost all of our categories a slight change in scoring from any of our judges could have completely changed the placings. That’s how tight the competition was and it speaks volumes for the quality of our competitors this year.

Audience members packed the seats this year and had great spirit and for your support of the competitors and of UFE we thank you all! A huge thank you goes out to all of our sponsors. It is their investment into our events that allows us to put on high caliber shows for the audience and for our competitors.

Some of the highlights of this event include the “Cash Prize Mayhem” in which we awarded $4000 in CASH to our winners of the evening including $1350 to our Female Fitness Model winner. We had some amazing competitors qualify for the UFE National Championships Elite division and many of our competitors were approached by top photographers for shots for submission to industry magazines. Look for our competitors to be featured in an upcoming issue of Inside Fitness Magazine, Xtreme Lifestyle Magazine and other publications as their pictures are submitted for consideration.

A huge thank you to some of the great industry photographers who came out to this event including Simon Lau, Chris Linton, celebrity photographer, Korby Banner and the one and only Glen Grant who has provided many of the shots you see below. Our Official Event Photographer, Bruce Templeton has provided additional pictures.
